You can see by her face that she was a little irritated by it at first. But pretty soon she settled in and enjoyed the opportunity to hop around in the cage and nibble the sprigs of grass that were poking through. She ended up enjoying a little change of pace in scenery.
I had decided that it was time to scour out the quail pens. I keep just about 20 birds in each cage. It looks like I’ll need to add some items into her cage so she can feel a little more entertained. Maybe some little steps and a platform. Perhaps a new cardboard house to hide underneath? Otherwise, she may just get bored, and actually head out on a real adventure. Can’t have her chasing dragons off to the lonely mountain, now can we?
